A Time to Be Born:
Annie Lee Robinson-Alderman was born on August 28, 1956 to late Beatrice Burgman-Robinson and Late Charles Henry Robinson, Sr. in Lowndes County.
Her presence was a gift, not only to her family and friends, but to all who came in contact with her. She was unique and one of a kind. In her presence was an inviting atmosphere of warmth and love. She was a woman of worth and beauty inside and out. Annie possessed an inner beauty that only comes from Christ.
As printed in 1 Peter, Chapter 2, Annie was a lively stone whom was chosen by God that she would show forth the praises of him who called her out of darkness into the marvelous light. She served God with al her heart, mind, and soul. She was a member of Christian Love Ministries. She served as an usher for numerous years until her health failed. She also fellowship with Restoration Fellowship Church.
On Thursday, August 31, no farewell words were spoken, and there was no time to say good bye; God gently put his arms around her and whispered Peace be thine.
A Time to Learn:
Mrs. Alderman received her education at Lowndes High School (1977) and graduated Georgia Military College (1994).
A Time to Serve:
Mrs. Alderman received Christ at an early age. She served faithfully at St. Mark Baptist Church as an usher for many years and later at Christian Love Bible Church before her illness. She worked faithfully with the benevolence ministry at Restoration Fellowship Church.
A Time to Live:
Mrs. Alderman was united in holy matrimony to the Willie James Alderman for 39 years. To this union, one child was born, Clarissa Yolanda Alderman. She worked at South Georgia Medical Center and Amedysis Health Care in the healthcare field for over 15 years until her health fail.
A Time to Mourn:
She leaves to cherish the memories of her life one daughter, Clarissa Yolanda Alderman. Five brothers and one sister: Her brothers include the late Willie J. Robinson (late Geneva),the late Sylvester Robinson (Earnestine),the late Isaiah Robinson (late Connie),Charles Robinson, Jr. (Maxine) of Valdosta, Georgia, Leroy Robinson (Annette) of Valdosta, Georgia, the late Artis Robinson (Lee) of Tampa, Florida and one sister, Sheila Wright (Byron) of Valdosta, Ga. One special nephew she raised as a son, Anthony Robinson, Sr. (Michelle) of Naylor, Georgia. One special great niece Alexus (Tevin) Brown of Valdosta, Georgia. One grandchild, Jordon Butler. Host of Nieces and Nephews: Charles III (Olympia), Teresa, DeAngela, Mia, Sylvester (Nicole), Stephanie, Micheal, Jennifer, Blanche, Wendy (Andrew), Isaiah Jr., Late Seketha, Jackie, Edmond Sr., Edmond Jr., Kenyatta, Late Carlos, and Christopher Wright. Mother-in-law: Jeanette Allen (Late Joel), Father-in-law Hakim McRae of Los Angeles, California. Three brother-in-laws: Antonio Green, Sr (Tammie), Keith Green (Monica), and Donald Green all of Valdosta, Georgia. Two sister-in-laws Bonita Green and Hilda Hollis of Valdosta, Ga. Seven uncles: the late Eddie Robinson, the late Roland Robinson, the late O.B. Robinson, the late Hamp Robinson, the late Camache Robinson, Mike Lee Robinson, Jr. and Martin (Dora) of Valdosta, Georgia. Five Aunts: the late Viola Lester, the late Lula Mae Lamb, the late Juanita McAfee, the late Geneva Robinson, and Ann Calloway of Macon, Georgia. Special Families include The Lambs, The Roberts, The Wrights, The Oxfords, The Ramseys, and The Cohens. Special friends Shirley Porter, Lynn Coleman, Mattie Miller, and Mary Copeland.

Home Going Services for Annie Lee Robinson Alderman will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at New Life Ministries located at Valdosta, Ga were Bernard Braswell is the pastor and John H. Manning, Sr. will officiate. The Repast will be held New Life Ministries Dinning Hall. John H. Manning, Sr will preside. Interment will be at the Harrington Rest Cemetery.
There will a Wake and Public Viewing:
Saturday, Sept 2 from 6-8 pm held at Christian Love Ministries located at 526 Griffin Avenue Valdosta, Ga 31601. Light Refreshments to follow viewing. Family and friends will be received at Church viewing. Final rites were entrusted to Harrington Funeral Home Inc.
