Clarence Lee Jones, Sr. was born on September 20, 1938 in Quitman, GA. He gave his life to the Lord at the tender age of nine years old. On October 27, 1957 he married the love of his life Mary Lizzie Potts. Their union produced three children.
Clarence Lee Jones's went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Ella Jones, his only granddaughter whom he loved dearly Chantel Jones, two brothers J.T. Baker and Robert Jones, and two sisters Minnie Lee Cushion and Frances Cushion. His father and mother in law Pastor Mahalie Potts and Mother Arcina Brown- Potts.
He leaves to cherish his memories: One loving daughter; Valencia Arcina Lucas and son in love Ivory Lucas Jr. of Valdosta, GA; Caring son and daughter in love; Clarence Lee Jones, Jr. and Emy Jones of Las Vegas Nevada; Caring son (his twin) and daughter in love; Darren Dewayne Jones and Doreatha "Cookie" Lane-Jones of Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren and their wives; Ivory Lucas III and Shameka Graham-Lucas of Thomasville, GA, Matthew John Lucas and Jenna Harrison Lucas of Valdosta, GA, Senior Airman Clarence Lee Jones, III of New Mexico; Great-grandchildren; Jaya, Shamoni, Isaiah, Ivory, IV (Q), Cambree, Rayna and Elijah; Two sisters; Martha T Smith of Valdosta, GA and Christine O'Neal (Roger) of Pooler, GA; Sister in laws; Roselle Baker and Lucille Jones of Valdosta, GA, Mattie Mae Daniels and Gloria (Norman) Bryant of Cairo, GA; Brother in law; Eddie B. Cushion of Jacksonville, FL; Special Godchildren who he loves like his own children; Shavonda Hardnett of Valdosta, GA, Johnny Rowe of New York and Ashley Parham of Atlanta, GA.
He also have many spiritual sons and daughters Pastor Charles (Evelyn) Vinson Beth (Donnie) Emanuel, Terry ( Robert ) Cooper, Barbara (Stewart) Williams, Barbara (Jimmy) Jordan, Betty Cain; Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
He also leaves to cherish his memory his former Val-Optic employees, his church family (Grace Point) and his DaVita (Dialysis clinic) family.
Home-Going celebration will be held, 3:00 P.M. Sunday August 12, 2018 at Grace Point Church. The family will receive all other family and sorrowing friends, Saturday August 11, 2018 from 5-8 P.M. at Evangel Temple Church.
Professional Mortuary services entrusted to Eric A. Brown and Son Funeral Home.

One of the most finest and considerate people I ever had the honor of meeting is Elder Jones. He served his office for the sake of the Gospel well. May his soul rest in peace.
