Connie's Story

On May 3, 2017 the lord called home one of his special angels. She went by the name of Connie Johnson Robinson. Connie walk ended from complications of Lupus. Connie was born on June 26, 1953 in Valdosta, Ga to the late Collis and Blanche Johnson. Connie resided in Valdosta, Georgia and selfishly worked as a homemaker raising her children, grandchildren and being a source of support and encouragement to all her family.

Connie was a faithful servant of the lord and served with Woodlawn Church of Christ for over 30 yrs. Connie was the faithful wife of 38 yrs to the Late Isaiah Robinson Sr.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Ellis Johnson.

Connie leaves four children: Jennifer D. Robinson, Blanche M. Robinson, Wendy C. Andrews (Leonard) and Isaiah Robinson Jr.; A God Son that she helped raise; Sam Williams. A special friend that she loved as a son; Romale Owens. She leaves several grandchildren, some of which she helped raise, Jarvis Robinson, Whitney Robinson, Kimberly Scott, Isaiah III, Zaniya, Zalea, Talissa, Earlie, and Asia.; Two sisters, two that she loved dearly Betty Lee and Diane Battles (Samuel); One Brother: Collis Johnson Jr.(Dee). Four Brother-In-Laws: Charles(Maxine), Leroy(Annette), Artis(Lee) and the Late Willie Robinson. Two Special Sister-In-Laws; Annie Alderman(Willie) and Sheila Wright (Byron). She also leaves a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Church Family.

Home Going Service, Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Woodlawn Forrest Church of Christ. Interment,Harrington Rest Cemetery. Harrington Funeral Home Inc.
