Of Valdosta, GA passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on October 14, 1967 in Kenitra, Morocco, North Africa to the late Edsel F. Hensley and Jacqueline (Bowden) Hensley of Valdosta. Curtis was a graduate of Lowndes High School, ABAC, Valdosta State College and Wiregrass Technical College. He worked for Walmart for 24 years, Wright Heating and Air and South Georgia Pecan. He loved spending time outdoors especially kayaking and riding his bicycle. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Luttie Bowden.
Along with his mother he is survived by: 3 Sisters & Brother-in-law: Sandra & Ed Miller, Ray City, GA, Brenda & Don Lawing, Marion, NC, Julie & Ed Griffin, Aiken, SC; Brothers & Sister-in-law: Michael & Darlene Hensley, Simpsonville, SC, Mark Hensley, Panama City, FL and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with the burial following in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Saturday. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
