David Stewart entered into eternal peace on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was born on September 2, 1950, in DuPont, GA, to the late Frank and Annie Stewart. David attended Pinevale school and later enlisted into the United States Marine Corps, where he received several awards: National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, and etc. He was a member of the Bethlehem Church, in Howell, GA. David also enjoyed his CB radio, football, and spending time with his family and friends.
David reunited with his parents; four brothers, Charlie, James, Sammie, and Joseph Stewart; a sister, Dorothy Keeley and his beloved daughter, Davidae Y. Stewart.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, of 25 years, Katherine Stewart of Valdosta, GA; a loving son, David (Sameka) Stewart of Fort Valley, GA; two sisters, Frankie May Moore and Doretha Beal of Valdosta, GA; five step children, Pamela McEady of Valdosta, GA, Frankie (Cedric) Brown of San Antonio, TX, Frank (Monica) McEady of Kansas, Carolyn (Grady) Goggins of Atlanta, GA and Mark McEady of Kansas; two granddaughters, Selah Stewart of Atlanta, GA and Daviona Stewart of Fort Valley, GA; two sisters-in law, Mary (Charlie) Stewart of Albany, GA and Mattie (James) Stewart of Valdosta, GA and also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church Rev. White is the pastor and will be officiating. Burial will be Lake Park Cemetery.
