Elder John Wallace Isom Jr., 53, Valdosta, was born May 9, 1964, to Elder John and Mary Isom. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1982. John was united in Holy matrimony to Karen Yvette Isom. To this union, five children were born. He served in the Unites States Army for 25 years, receiving numerous achievements. He was a graduate of Valdosta State University, receiving a bachelor's degree in Sociology. He was also a member of Union Cathedral, where he served faithfully as Youth Pastor.
