We tip our hats to a life well lived. Harrry Dean Millirons, 74, also known as Dick, Mr. D. and Nookie, took his last breath at South Georgia Medical Center with his daughter by his side on August 11, 2017. He was born in Hahira, GA on November 2, 1942 to the late Ermer & Mammie (Jones) Millirons. He lived most of his life in Homerville before returning to wear his roots began in 2001. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and New Season Church of God. He began his career early at the age of 13 traveling to Canada working and saving his money for his first car, a corvette. He worked hard all of his life. He owned and operated Hobos Package Store, BM & M Trucking Company and also worked with the Clinch County Board of Education as a Bus Driver. He enjoyed the outdoors, laying by the pool, cruising in his jeep and spending time with his daughter & family. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Latricia Smith Millirons, brothers, Bobby Millirons & Ralph Millirons and sister, Agnes Daughtary.
Survivors Include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Brandy & Michael Knighton, Valdosta; 2 Grandchildren: Zane and Kyleigh Knighton, Valdosta; 2 Brothers & Sister-in-law: Carroll & Marsha Millirons, Hahira, Freddy Millirons, Hahira and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 13, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Sympathy may expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
