Mr. Jerry Mack Crosby, 75 of Quitman passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Crosby was born December 22, 1941 in Quitman to Clarence & Eunice Louise Pinson Crosby. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Welcome Hill Church of Christ. Mr. Crosby was a chemical salesman and owner of Val-Co Marketing.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Crosby of Quitman; children, Jerry Michael Crosby of Quitman, Clarence Jason Crosby of Quitman, Terri Crosby DeCarlo (Don) of Quitman, Janet Crosby Hendon (Randy) of Quitman, Tracy T. Parker (Michelle Parker) of Quitman, and Ricky E. (Ginger) Parker of Savannah; mother, Eunice Louise Crosby of Quitman; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three sisters, Sue Carter of Dasher, Patsy Carter of Statenville, and Diane Rogers of Quitman. Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Crosby.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Welcome Hill Church of Christ with Minister Shane Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.maxwellmillerfuneralhome.com.
