John W. Bollman 93, beloved husband of Debbie passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on April 24, 1924 in Dayton, OH to the late John W. & Helen (Hohl) Bollman. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a United States Army World War II Veteran who served in the Philippines. Mr. Bollman owned and operated Bollman Business Machines.
Survivors Include: Wife, Debbie J. Bollman, Valdosta; Daughter, Mary T. Fisher, North Chelmsford, MA; Grandson, Seth P. Fisher (Kris), Anderson, SC; Brother, William Bollman (Jean), Danville, IN; Sister, Barbara Wigley (Bud), Gerry, NY; Sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bollman, Jamestown, NY, and a number of nieces and nephews and beloved cats, Hoss and Charlie. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Darrogh and brother, Jim Bollman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2017, in the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A private interment will be held at Honey Creek Woodlands, Conyers, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the church Thursday evening, June 29, 2017 with a rosary being said at 7:30. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Francis Ministry at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 800 Gornto Road, Valdosta, GA 31602.
