Latrelle Bradford Gornto


Mrs. Latrelle Bradford Gornto, 81 of Adel, Georgia passed away February 8, 2019 at the Legacy Villiage in Moultrie, Georgia. Mrs. Gornto was born October 30, 1937 in Adel to the late Windol McKinley Bradford and Ruth Estelle Cobb Bradford. She lived most of her life in Cook County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Adel. Mrs. Gornto retired as an Administrative Assistant with the Cook County Extension Office. She was a member of the DAR, Pink Ladies Auxiliary, Cook County Livestock Association, Cook County Historical Society and the Retired Teachers Association.

Mrs. Gornto is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law: Bruce and Cathy Gornto of Prattville, Alabama; Ralph and Rhonda Gornto of Brunswick, Georgia; six grandchildren: Jason and Lindsay Gornto of Cumming, Georgia; Jill and Donald Raymond of Newnan, Georgia; Blair and Morgan Gornto, Caroline Gornto all of Prattville, Alabama; Tiffany and Daniel Griffis; Shelby and Drew Wentworth all of Brunswick, Georgia; six great grandchildren: Piper, Harper, Landon and Colton Gornto of Cumming, Georgia; Ethan Raymond of Newnan, Georgia and Aubrey Wentworth of Brunswick, Georgia; four sisters and one brother-in-law: Maragret Ellen Futch of Hahira, Georgia; Lynda Smith, Nancy Smith, Fredda and Render Folsom all of Adel; a host of nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Gornto.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 11, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Adel with Rev. Bill Marlette and Rev. William Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn City Cemetery. Visitaion will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave.; Adel, Georgia.
