Luneal's Story

Mother Luneal Greggs Tucker was born on February 1, 1930 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Booker T. and Lucille Davis Greggs.
Luneal attended and graduated from Dasher High School. She was a long time employee at the Dasher Pecan Factory. She was an active member at the Southside Church of Christ. She was married for fifty two years to the late Ansel Tucker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ansel Tucker and two children, Booker T. Tucker and JoAnn Tucker.
On Friday, June 16, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center, God sealed Mother Tucker's eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine".
Mother Tucker is survived by five loving and devoted children: Gloria Jean Shivers (Harry, deceased), Anderson Tucker (Geraldine), Larry Tucker, Mary Alice Bolton (Calvin) and Angela Register (Frank); eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one brother-in-law: Eddie B. Tucker; one sister-in-law: Shirley Tucker; Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowful friends.
A special thanks to Dr. Lynn Lee and Staff for years of outstanding medical care and special thanks to her caregiver and T.V. partner, her son-in-law, Frank Register for all the care and concern during the years.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Southside Church of Christ. Bro. John Iverson, minister, Bro. Earnest Carter, officiating. Burial will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be held on today from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
