Naomi "Sue"'s Story

Naomi "Sue" Lanning, 78, of Naylor, Ga., passed away on Dec. 10, 2017 at home.
Sue was born in Valdosta, Ga. on Dec. 5, 1939, to Dewey Brantley and Doris Wilkerson. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She will always he remembered for her ability to find a treasure in everything she touched. Her greatest joy was earning the title "Meme". She loved her plants and had the strongest green thumb. Sue could grow anything.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Curtis Lanning; daughters, Susan Benoit and husband Brett, Debbie Hebert and husband Mike, Nancy Watford and husband Daniel and son, Ernest Cole, Jr.; brothers, Leonard Brantley and Danny Brantley. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Vickie Wytalier, and one brother, Lee Brantley and one sister, Mary Schaeffer. We love you and miss you so much Momma. You are forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family would love donations to be made in her memory to your local Hospice Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
