Parrie's Story

Parrie Bernice (Hart) Love, departed this life on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Capital Health, Hopewell Campus after a lengthy illness.
Born in Valdosta, GA, she lived in East Trenton before settling in Ewing Township where she resided for fifty years. She was employed by the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital for seventeen years and upon graduating from The College of New Jersey she was hired by the Trenton Public School District as an Elementary Education Teacher assigned to Jefferson Elementary School.
Mother Love is a lifetime member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Valdosta (Clyattville), GA. Most recently she was a member of Bethlehem AME Church, Burlington, NJ.
She is a former member of Top Ladies of Distinction, Trenton Chapter, where she served as Advisor to the Top Teens and held the office of Treasurer. She is also a former member of Princess Leah Chapter Number 23, Order of Eastern Star.
She was predeceased by her parents, Isaac Stafford and Hannah Gertrude (Hall) Hart; eight siblings - Arthur Leslie (Gladys), Annie Pearl Hart, Dorothy Voriece, Granvil Rollin, Calvin Lorenzo, Ruth Helen, Howard Owen, and Rev. James Inman Hart.
Mother Love is survived by her caring and loving husband, William Howard Love; four children - Kenneth LaRue Love, Sr. (Wanda Lynn), Indra Victoria Love, William Tyrone Love, Sr., and Rev. Dr. Berlinda A. (Hart) Love; seven grandchildren, Kiyana Nicole Richardson (Lyneir), Lauren Nicole Rowe, Kahlia Monique Alvarez, Kenneth LaRue Love, Jr., Kenisha Lynn Love, William Tyrone Love, Jr., and Sean-Riyan Love; six great-grandchildren - Zaire Charles Stansbury, Noah David Stansbury, Hope Noelle Stansbury, Malcolm Coltrane Stansbury, Jayden Mikel Bryant, and Sophia Alexandra Love; a sister, Zoreda Gertrude (Hart) Harris and two brothers, Isaac Stafford Hart, Sr. (Joan) and Ralph Ezekiel Hart (Carline), a second sister-in-law, Mary Lois Hart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
The Service of Triumph will be on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 12noon at The Lighthouse, 715 Bellevue Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08618.
Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
Calling hours will be from 10am to 12 noon at the church.
The Reverend Doctor Berlinda A. (Hart)Love will eulogize her mother. The Reverend Wayne Griffith, Pastor of the Lighthouse, will Preside over the service.
Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
