Robbie OConnor, 21, of Valdosta, died on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama on October 20, 1995 and was a senior at Valdosta State University. Robbie had earned an Associate Degree from Georgia Military College in Business Administration and was pursuing a business management degree from VSU at the time of his passing. Robbie enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowboarding, skiing, swimming, basketball, wrestling, and other outdoor activities. Robbie also loved playing video games with his brother. He had and adventurous spirit and love to socialize. He will be missed and loved by all his family and friends. Robbie attended Morningside Baptist Church.
Robbie is survived by his parents, Dale OConnor and Kellie OConnor, both of Valdosta; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Andrew and Kammi Kenney of Parker, Colorado and Caleb OConnor of Valdosta; two nephews, Gage and Maddox Kenney and a niece Keilyn Kenney all of Parker, Colorado; his grandparents, Jimmie and Louise Micklous of Barefoot Bay, Florida and JoAnn and Bill DeWitt of Jenks, Oklahoma; a great-grandmother, Rose Woodrow of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; an aunt, Janice and Kenny Johnson Miaetta of McKees Rock, Pennsylvania; an uncle, Gary OConnor of Barefoot Bay, Florida; an uncle and aunt, Gene and Ginger Wright of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Services for Robbie OConnor will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday June 17, 2017 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Wayne Robertson officiating.
