Robert Lee Shirley, Jr. - 86 of Valdosta passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Langdale Hospice House after a brief illness. He was affectionately known to many as "Jr." & to his friends at Zacadoo's as the "Tater Man". He was born on January 24, 1931 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Robert L. & Lucille (Fletcher) Shirley. Along with his parents Robert was preceded in death by step father, Walter Inscore, sister, Ruby Thomason and brother, Wesley Shirley.
He leaves his Sisters, Margaret Johnson & Linda Reaves Harris (John); Brother, Jerry Inscore (Penny); Niece, Theresa Denton; Nephews, Randy Thomason, Larry Thomason, Ben Reaves (Pam), Jon Reaves, Great nieces, nephews and dear friends to remember his funny stories and his slow southern drawl while telling stories and talking about loving the Lord.
