Rudeen Fender Conaway

Rudeen Fender Conaway, age 88 of Nashville, Ga. went to be with the Lord on Monday February 4, 2019 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Valdosta.
Rudeen was born on July 13, 1930 to the late Marion and Ola Gaskins Fender. She was a Christian lady who spent many nights in prayer. Those closest to her knew that she loved a Coco-Cola more than anything. She was a strong woman, best known for her feisty attitude and unreserved spirit. A quote that mirrors her life, "A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in."
Survivors include one son, Donald Brown, one daughter, Martha (Kelvin) Chaney, grandson, Christopher (Elizabeth) Rountree, great-granddaughter, Logan (Kemmuel) Viveiros, and a great-great-granddaughter, Grace Viveiros.
She devoted the latter days of her life to raising Logan and loving baby Grace.
In addition to her parents, Rudeen was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Conaway, one sister, Marie Fender, and one granddaughter, Hope Rountree.
Reflection Cremation and Funeral Service of Tifton is assisting the family with arrangements.
