Tammy  Smith


Tammy Smith, 58, of Hahira died Thursday, July 4, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in France on February 16, 1961 and had lived in Hahira most of her life. Tammy was a Baptist. She was a strong independent woman who loved her family and friends who lived life to the fullest. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her grandsons by taking them to Wild Adventures, fishing and traveling. She also loved spending time with her sister and brother in law, niece and nephew and close friends.
She is survived by her son, Bucky Ogletree; her grandsons, Ben Ogletree and Aidan Ogletree both of Ray City; her father, Larry O. Smith of Hahira; her sister and brother in law, Terry and Greg Black of Valdosta; her nephew, Josh Black of Valdosta; her niece, Carrie Black of Clyattville; the mother of her grandsons and former daughter in law, Melissa Ogletree of Ray City ; her special friends, Deborah Tucker of Leesburg, GA, Amy Tucker, Sherry Parker, Leilani Futch all of Hahira; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to give special thanks to Brenda, Mary Ann and the U S Renal Staff for taking care of Tammy. She is preceded in death by her mother, Christine Musick Smith; grandparents, Kermit and Carrie Musick, Pratt and Nana Lou Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens with Mr. Jimmy Noles officiating.
