Lillian Blankenship of Hahira, GA, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. She was born in Quitman, GA, to the late Harry James Kearse and Eunice Thompson. She was a member of Azalea City Church of God. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Frank Jones, and a sister, Louise Smith.
Survivors include: Husband, Melvin Leroy Blankenship of Hahira, GA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Sabrina & Terry Pardue of Springfield, TN; Brother & Sister-in-law, Jimmy & Jeannie Kearse of Quitman, GA; Sister, Barbara Lane of Hahira, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law, Freddy & Kathy Kearse of Morven, GA; Grandson, Zack & Renee Pardue of Springfield, TN; Great-Granddaughter, Sutton Pardue.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 1-2 p.m. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
