Lonnie Larry Harnage, 65, of Nashville died Saturday March 18, 2017 at his residence.
He was born July 16, 1951 in Jasper, FL to the late William Freely Harnage and the late Vera Mae McNise. He was a loom mechanic with Nashville Mills, truck driver and a jack of all trades. He served his country in the U. S. Army in the 82nd Airborne and was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor. He was preceded by 3 brothers: Steve, Bobby, and George Harnage.
He is survived by his: daughter: Kim (Scott) Shasteen of Nashville; son: Chris (Bea) Harnage of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Telicia Storey, Joshua Posey, and Brandon Harnage; 3 great grandchildren: Alexis Storey, Landon Storey and Avery Storey and a great grandson to be: Riley Posey; 3 step grandchildren; 2 brothers: JR Harnage of Sumter, SC and Tony Harnage of Nashville; sister: Nell Thompson of Ray City; a special friend: Kristy White; and the love of his life: Margaret McDonald.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 PM.
