Mr. Pete Williams, 78 of Quitman passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Halcyon Inpatient Unit in Atlanta. Mr. Williams was born November 16, 1938 to the late Roy and Lena Duke Williams. He served in the National Guard and was a carpenter before retiring. Mr. Williams was a member of Welcome Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Williams of Quitman; daughters, Darlene Munoz of Quitman, Missy Storey of Meigs, and Michelle (Keith) Reynolds of Hahira; grandchildren, Chris (Lisa) McMillion, Brandon McMillion, Aaron Munoz, Alex Munoz, Daniel (Penney) Storey, Lauren Storey, Taylor Storey, Amber Reynolds, Kelsey Reynolds, and Lee Reynolds; great grandchildren, Lennox Storey, and Christine Mae McMillion; brothers, Donald Williams of Quitman, and Jerry Mack Williams of Quitman; sister, Agnes Bryant of Raleigh, MS; special niece, Jackie Hainault, and several nephews; sister in law, Vanelle Williams; special friends, Chip Carroll, Gustavo Munoz, and Tony Sanchez.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Welcome Hill Church of Christ with Mr. Mike Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell-Miller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House for his great granddaughter, Christina Mae McMillion.
