Mr. Talmadge Farrell Fulp, 67, of Adel, Georgia, passed away July 30, 2017 at his home. He was born in Cecil, Georgia on December 17, 1949 to Talmadge B. Fulp and Lexie W. Fulp Sirmans. He served in the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. Mr. Fulp lived in Cook County most of his life where he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a retired diesel mechanic with Nashville Tractor.
Mr. Fulp is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brantley and Tiffany Fulp of Douglas, GA; a granddaughter, Gabrellia Fulp, also of Douglas; his mother, Lexie W. Fulp Sirmans of Sparks, GA; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Jimmy and Emily Fulp of Nashville, GA and Jeff and Dian Fulp of Valdosta, GA; six sisters and four brothers-in-law: Carolyn and Gerrie Kitts of Valdosta, Geraldine King of Nashville, Virginia Boutwell of Washington, GA, Kaye and Richard Gibson of Walhalla, SC, Gail and Wendell Stephens of Valdosta, and Beth and Tim Flanders of Tifton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Talmadge B. Fulp.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, July 31, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home South, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel. A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 2 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Cecil with Rev. Gary James officiating. Mark Alexander, Jody Meeler, Jared Howell, Elmer Purvis, Derry Bennett and Timmy Guthrie will serve as active pallbearers and Donald Duren will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
