Valdosta, GA - Bruce R. Gosbin, 69, of Valdosta, Georgia, and formerly of Vineland and Bridgeton, New Jersey, passed away early Monday morning, June 1, 2026, at Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta.

Born in Bridgeton, New Jersey in 1956, Bruce was the son of the late Wesley F. Gosbin, Sr. and the late Martha J. (née Nichols) Gosbin. He was raised in the family home on Cedarbrook Avenue in Bridgeton . Bruce graduated from Bridgeton Senior High

School with the Class of 1975 and was a member of the school's varsity football team, where he played defensive tackle.

After high school, Bruce attended Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, graduating in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

During the summers while in college, he worked at the former Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton. After graduating, Bruce held accounting positions of increasing responsibility at Ware's Van and Storage Co., F&S Fresh Foods, Sands Casino and

Resort, and Reisenburger & Kinzer, P.C. In September 2000, he joined the law firm of Flaster Greenberg, P.C., where he served as controller until his retirement in September 2017.

Bruce lived in Vineland, NewJersey for many years before relocating to St. Mary's, Georgia, in 2019, and eventually settling in Valdosta in 2020.

Bruce had a heart of gold and a gift for filling a quiet room with laughter through his jokes and storytelling. He enjoyed conversing with young people and often encouraged them to find their passion and set goals to pursue their dreams. He inspired more people than he will ever know.

His hobbies and interests included photography, fishing, gardening, and watching old movies.

He is survived by his fiancée, Tamara (Ortiz) Logan; sister, Joanne Gerbino of Haddonfield, New Jersey; twin sister, Barbara Pace of Hopewell Township, New Jersey;

step-granddaughter, Franki Dixon of Wichita, Kansas; nieces and nephew, Nicole Roberts (Nathan), Richard Gerbino, and Jaime Pflieger (Michael) and many friends.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Amelia Marino Gosbin, in 2009; his brother, Wesley F. Gosbin, Jr., in 1996; and his brother-in-law, Russell Pace, in 2025.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Monday evening June 15th from 6 until 8 at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton, New Jersey.

Service and burial at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton, New Jersey will be private.
