Jared and Brittany:
We send you our deepest sympathy as you walk through these waters. We have been in your shoes and know personally of the hurt in your hearts. Because of whose we are we know Chandler, like our Jimmy, are safe in the arms of Jesus. The joy is that they are well and we will get to be with them one day. Just a few words of counsel: (1) remember nothing comes our way that do not first pass through God's hands . (2) Your ministry has just become enlarged and God is going to give you opportunities to minister to other hurting couples in your lifetime. (3) You have a choice to become "bitter" or "better". The choice is yours. Do all that you do for the glory of God.
... (4) Understand that well meaning people and friends are going to say hurtful things. Like "You are young you can still have another child". There will never be a replacement for your precious Chandler. He as fearfully and wonderfully made and God's will was done in his life. People who say those type things have never experienced hurt or loss. (5) Do not beat yourselves up and wonder "if my sin caused this". The sin of Adam did it for all of us. Our prayer is that God will show Himself strong on the behalf your family, that Christian Brothers and Sisters will hold your arms, that God will give you strength for this day and every day and that He will be honored by your actions and deeds.

We have sent a contribution to the Gideon's in Chandler's memory. Every Bible we purchased will be distributed and have his name in it. we know the Word does not return void and we pray those Bibles will get into the hands of people who most need them.

We lve you,

Uncle Aubrey and Aunt Anna
