Clarksville, VA - David "Dave" Harry Bittinger, 83, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away June 1, 2026; in Clarksville, Virginia.

David was the widower of Sue Bittinger, love of his life; sharing 35 yearrs together.

Born in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, son of David Robert and Esther (Junn) Bittinger.

David graduated from White Sulphur Springs High School, joined the Army serving in Vietnam, along with his four brothers whom all returned home.

David was an exceptional carpenter, enjoyed working with his hands; along with collecting toy trains, coins, and tools! David loved to laugh with a great sense of humor; being the jokester.

He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Ricky (Lynne) Bittinger; surviving their three children, David Wayne (Jamie) Bittinger and their seven children, Jennifer Sharber and her two children.

Thirty-two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Surviving siblings: Daniel Lee (Cindy) Bittinger, Billy Ray Bittinger, Shirley (Tim) Boggs. Passed siblings: Robert Bittinger

and Larry Bittinger.
