Edward Foreman Sharp Obituary
Valdosta, GA - Edward Foreman Sharp, age 76, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1949, Ed was a proud Christ follower, devoted family man, and an honored Air Force veteran who valued relationships and lived life to the fullest. There wasn't a dare he would turn down, a practical joke he wouldn't play, or a sport in which he didn't excel.
Ed lived for opportunities to spend time with his family and frequently shared how proud he was of them. In fact, whenever his wife was dressed up for a date night, he would call her "Miss Australia" (we have no connection to Australia, but that was Ed) and go on and on about how lucky he was.
Ed is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Devi; children, Heather, Shawn (Summer), and Kimberly (Terry); and seven grandchildren; Kyle, Tyler Jo, Lucy, Ellery, Nathan, Luke, and Austin; and several supportive family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Ed's passing leaves a hole in our hearts, but we rejoice knowing that Jesus was his Savior and we will be reunited in heaven.
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
