Ft. Lauderdale, FL - JW. Bagley, 91, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026. He lived a life marked by service, strength, and deep devotion to his family.

J.W. proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy, exemplifying honor, courage, and commitment throughout his military career. His service reflected his strong sense of duty and love for his country.

Above all, J.W. was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 59 years, Helen. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. He was a proud father to his children: Vickie (Ed), Shari (Mariya), Terri (the late "Van"), JW Jr. (Piper), and Bob (Nathan). He was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him tremendous joy.

J.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Mary; his son, Mark; his brothers, Grover Jr. and Billy; his sisters, Frances, Reba, and Phyllis Ann.

J.W. was devoted to God and led his family with quiet strength, wisdom, and compassion. He will be remembered for his steady presence, generous heart, and the example he set for those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at New Harvest Methodist Church, 2548 East Park Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31602.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
