Mr. Kevin Earl Simmons Jr., 39, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on May 30, 2020. He was born to the parents of Kevin Earl Simmons, Sr. and Patricia Diane Clines on October 19, 1980 in Valdosta, Georgia. Kevin Jr. attended Lowndes High School. He was a sports fan with a keen interest in basketball and football. Lebron James was Kevin's favorite athlete. Kevin was loyal, awesome, determined, hardworking, trustworthy, caring, a provider, and humble. These were all the terms that best described his character. Kevin loved positive vibes. He was a humanitarian due to his will and urgency to help others. Kevin will forever and always be the GOAT to those who truly loved him.

Kevin preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Reuben Simmons, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Jewell Simmons; maternal grandmother, Cleo Clines; maternal grandfather, James Clines; his favorite aunt, Beverly Murray; aunt, Renay Simmons Edmonds

Kevin was also a loyal, loving, and dedicated husband to his wife, Nikki Simmons of eleven years, who survives him. He is also survived by his sons, Kevin Byrd, and Jordan Simmons; daughter, Keaira Simmons; mother, Patricia Diane Clines; his father and second mom, Kevin E. (Geraldine) Simmons, Sr.; brothers, William "Bill" (Shamikka) Jones, Jr., Eric (Jackie) Clines, Devin (Brittney) Simmons, Demetris Simmons; sisters Shakira Simmons, Jasmine (Kenya) Griffin, Shandora (Vincent) Brooks; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Home Going Celebration will be held Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Ralph Harrington Chapel. Interment will follow immediately after the service at the Pallbearer Cemetery. Final rites were entrusted to Harrington Funeral Home Inc.
