Lee Allen Gould Obituary

Valdosta, GA - Lee Allen Gould, of Valdosta, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on May 11, 1939, in Hamilton, Ohio, the youngest child of Fanny and Steve Allen. She graduated from Hamilton High School and, in 1978, moved to Valdosta, where she made her home for the remainder of her life.

Lee was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Bob D. Gould; her sisters Margaret, Mona, Marion, Gail, Jackie, and Diane; her brother, Steven; and her infant daughter, Carrie.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle and Angela, both of Gainesville, Florida; her sister, Geraldine Novelli of Malvern, Pennsylvania; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Those who knew Lee will remember her warmth, kindness, and lively sense of humor. She found great joy in laughter, in time spent with family and friends, and in her love of travel and reading. An avid tennis enthusiast, she took pleasure in following the matches of the sport she loved.

A visitation will be held at Carson McLane Funeral Home on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Reverend John Chick will officiate. Family and friends are then invited to the First Christian Church fellowship hall for lunch.
