Bogota, Colombia - Leonor Solorzano de Acuna, age 91, from Bogota, Colombia, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. A devoted Catholic woman, she loved her children, grandchildren, and friends. She was a frequent visitor of Valdosta. Leonor will be greatly missed by everyone who was ever in contact with her because of her love, compassion and faith.

Survivors include her 5 children: Manuel Acuna (Blanca)of Colombia; Rafael Acuna (Clara) of Mexico; Jose Acuna (Inna)of Orlando, Fl; Isabel Boatright (Joel)of Valdosta; and Ana Maria Horst of Atlanta; her grandchildren: Juliana Acuna, Carlos Rafael Acuna (Yeimi), David Boatright, Andrea Boatright, Daniel Acuna, Samuel Acuna, Emily Acuna and Danna Sophia Acuna.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Manuel Acuna.

Funeral services are to be held at the Casa Funeraria del Norte, Calle 136 #17A-85, Sala No. 1, Bogota, Colombia, starting on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 am, continuing with the Ceremony of Light on Thursday, October 23 at 6:30 pm, and a Funeral Mass on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10:00 am at the San Juan de Avila Catholic Church, Calle 136 #18-14, Bogota, Colombia.
