passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at her home in Valdosta.

She was born Dec. 24, 1954 to Fred and the late Sarah Louise Jones. She was a graduate of Lowndes High School, employed by South Georgia Printing as an Inserter, and was of the Baptist (Christian) faith. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Louise Jones and a nephew, Roderick "Dino" Johnson, and several uncles of Miami, Fla., Bill Howell of Valdosta, and Ottis Howell (Robison), Miami, Fla., Thomas Howell and a brother-in-law, Sylvester Dudley.

She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Fred Jones; one son, Kevin Antinio Jones (Lasonya Gatlin); one daughter, Keshtia LaDawn Jones; five grandchildren, Kevin Antinio Jones, Jr., Diamon Gatlin, Santavis Gatlin, Ke-ahjae Cole, Temahjae Jones; six brothers, James Howell, Robert Jones (Gloria Jones), Valdosta, Carlos Jones (Lynette Jones), Copperas, Texas, Fredrick Jones (Quita), and Nathaniel Jones, Valdosta, Benjamin Jones, N.C.; eight sisters, Bernice King, Valdosta, Freddie Mae Jones (Allen Lane), Naylor, Helen Dudley, Valdosta, Betty Ruth Smith (George Smith), Naylor, Pearlie Jones, Evelyne Jones, Juanita Ceasar (Johnny Ceasar), Valdosta, Daisy Cushion, Atlanta; three aunts, Rachel White, Martha Loris Jones, Evelyne Johnson, all of Valdosta; three uncles, Julian Howell (Ocie), Lake Oak, Fla., Jessie White, Detroit, Mich., Charles White, Miami, Fla.; and a host of other caring relatives.

Viewing will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, Valdosta.
