My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Carter family during this difficult time. Mary was a beautiful lady and so good to me. The stories she told me about my daddy (Wilbur) when he was growing up really helped me through a difficult year last year. I will truly miss visiting with her, and going through old photos with her. She was truly a family historian and I am blessed that she shared some of her memories with me. Love ya'll!

Mary Bunk and Pearl were a great influence on my childhood and who I am today. Although they were not that much older than me because I grew up as an only child I had little idea how "girls" should act and react. They were my examples when I visited Grandma Carter in the summers . Watching Mary iron and go about daily chores taught me much. She was always smiling, happy and friendly. I will miss chatting with her, going over old photographs and reading her comments on FaceBook. She was one of a kind.

We loved you so much and to hear you play the piano was amazing. Such a great and wonderful lady. You will be missed.
