Mary Anne Dell, 83 of Morven, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born to the late Lunice and Fannie M. Godwin on June 30, 1941, in Morven, Georgia. She had a deep love for fishing. Alongside her passion for the outdoors, she also dedicated her time and heart to being a Sunday School teacher at Morven Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Charles Godwin, Rollins Godwin, and Ken Godwin; sisters: Darlene Coppage and Rose Coppage.

Survivors include her sons: Ron Delaney (Candy) of Ridgecrest, California, Kyle Delaney (Tisa) of Thomasville, Georgia, and Steve "Chip" Dell of Moultrie, Georgia; grandchildren: Kimberly Lewis (Jay) of Valdosta, Georgia, Eric Delaney (Kala) of Alpharetta, Georgia, Raquel Tewksbury (Ryan) of Tavares, Florida, Ryan "R.J" Delaney of Tallahassee, Florida, Ricky Delaney of Ridgecrest, California, Alias Dell (Marley) of Greensville, South Carolina, Cameron Dell of Fort Walton, Florida, and Alexis Dell of Valdosta, Georgia; 4 great grandchildren; brother, L.E. Godwin of Morven, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held later in April of 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfunerlservices.com.
