It is with deepest sympathy Godfrey Funeral Home announces Ms. May Etta Doe, age 78, departed this life Monday, June 19, 2023.

The Celebration of Life for the late Ms. May Etta Doe, will be Saturday, July 1, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at Godfrey Funeral Home Chapel, 636 River Street, Valdosta, GA.

Bishop Julius McCoggle will be officiating.

Public viewing will be Friday, June 30, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Godfrey Funeral Home, 636 River Street, Valdosta.

All those who wish to pay their respect in person must wear mask at the public viewing and the funeral service.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, her sisters: Lucille Sloan and Phyllis Owens, both of Valdosta, GA; brothers: Nathaniel McClain (Teresa), James McClain and Willie McClain, all of Valdosta, GA; special friend and neighbor: Ms. Eva Mae; caregiver and friend: Mrs. Jackie Severson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
